IT Infrastructure Officer
Job Description:
- Planning, managing, and physically maintaining IT infrastructure such as power, cooling, fire safety, building management access, and environmental monitoring.
- Providing information on known issues, documenting and executing appropriate solutions, and reporting the results of operational controls (security, backup, restore) to ensure compliance with agreed Service Level Agreements and rapid recovery of IT services in the infrastructure domain to support business operations.
- Assisting business users with their complaints by providing general information and efficiently and professionally handling all service requests related to IT in the infrastructure domain.
- Considering and planning the necessary infrastructure-related resources to provide IT services.
- Acting as a level 2 support to restore IT infrastructure services that cannot be immediately resolved by level 1 support and escalating to external support if necessary.
- Monitoring the status of infrastructure and networks, conducting preventive maintenance, or proposing development initiatives when no incidents occur.
Qualification:
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- At least 3-4 Year(s) of working experience in the the field of network and server infrastructure.
- Able to troubleshoot and administer IT networks in large organization with multiple locations
- Having knowledge in server infrastructure, configuration management, Mikrotik Skill, CISCO, & PABX
- Have an extensive experience in administering cloud infrastructure
- Have a good knowledge on how software and operating system works.
- Able to configure Firewall, switch, router and other IT peripherals.
- Have a good understanding of Disaster Recovery and able to implement it.
- Preferably have certification such as: CCNA / CISSP
